Terms and Conditions
Insurance:
We know most people don’t think about the need for insurance when travelling within the UK, but the unexpected can always happen and if you need to cancel your visit to us you could lose your deposit or even the full cost of the retreat.
We therefore strongly advise all our guests to arrange Personal Accident and Travel/Cancellation Insurance when booking onto one of our retreats.
It only costs a relatively small payment and this will cover you for your lost fees. Please read the over offered carefully
Booking information:
The retreat cost includes the retreat fee, accommodation and all meals during your stay. Travel to the retreat is not included in the price but we can recommend local taxis for airport transfers or we can arrange this or you. Many clients who fly, hire cars as this is often very cost effective.
Special diets can be catered for, but you must inform COR of your requirements when booking your retreat. Participants must be over 18 years of age and all our retreats are non-smoking venues.
It may be possible to book to stay overnight before and/or after your retreat depending on our retreat schedules. This can be booked through COR, once your retreat has been booked.
Payment Policy:
Full Payment of a Retreat is taken at the time of booking. If you need a payment plan, please contact COR direct at @hello@coastaloasisretreats.com to discuss.
Rescheduling Policy:
If you decide to reschedule from one retreat to another retreat, it will be treated as a cancellation on your part and the ‘Refund Policy’ terms and conditions herein shall apply.
Refund Policy:
If you decide to cancel the retreat after paying the full payment, cancellations made 3 weeks or more before the retreat start date will receive a refund, less 15% for administration fees and the cost of filling your space. If you can find a replacement customer for your place, a full refund is given.
If you cancel less than three weeks before the start of the retreat, no refund will be given. We strongly advise you to take out your own insurance in case you have to cancel through illness or other unforeseen circumstances.
Cancellation Policy:
All information included in our website and publicity is correct at the time of going to press, but may be subject to change. Whilst we do not anticipate changes to the advertised retreat dates or venue, we may have to cancel or postpone retreats or change the venue at our discretion.
The retreats managed by COR offer fixed programmes, which all guests are encouraged to take part in. A programme timetable is understandably subject to change at little or no notice due to weather conditions, staff availability and other circumstances, which are often beyond the control of COR.
If the retreat is cancelled, you may transfer your registration to another retreat date or receive a full refund of all monies (excluding travel costs) unless the cancellation has occurred due to factors beyond the control of COR. We suggest you take out your own insurance in case of cancellation through unforeseen circumstances.
Liability:
COR shall in no event be held liable for any loss or other damages including but not limited to special, incidental, consequential, or any other damages.
Confidentiality:
For the purposes of organising and running a retreat, we may disclose to you proprietary confidential information, such as (without limitation) know-how, methodology, and materials protected by our intellectual property, however recorded or preserved (the “Confidential Information”).
The Confidential Information may be obviously confidential, or may have been identified as such. It includes the contents of the workshops and activities, which take place during the retreats.
By booking a retreat, you agree that you will keep confidential all Confidential Information belonging to COR and that you will not commercially use or exploit the Confidential Information without COR’s prior written consent.
Behaviour:
We reserve the right to ask participants to leave the retreat if their behaviour is disruptive to the running of the retreat or to the other participants and staff. If you withdraw from the retreat at any time or if you are requested to leave due to disruptive behaviour, no part of the retreat fee shall be refunded. In the case of our staff’s decision to ask you to leave, all matters arising from a dispute are subject to UK law and are subject to the jurisdiction of the UK courts.
